Awaken: A Love Story is a dystopian sci-fi romance which is now live on Kindle Vella. New episodes are released every Sunday and you can read the first three episodes for free!
For letter V, I’m sharing quotes from Veronica Roth, author of the dystopian series Divergent.
For letter O, I’ve chosen dystopian author George Orwell. I borrowed my grandad’s copy of Animal Farm when I was about 14, and though I didn’t fully understand the political allegory, I found it very interesting.
For letter H, I’ve chosen to focus on one of my favourite young adult dystopian series, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
For letter F, I’ve chosen one of my favourite classic dystopian novels, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. It somehow manages to be cynical and hopeful at the same time.
For letter E, I’ve chosen Ernest Cline, a sci-fi author whom I discovered fairly recently. I enjoyed all the retro nostalgia and dark humour in Ready Player One.
