For letter U, I’ve compiled my favourite quotes from books that I feel don’t get enough appreciation.
For letter T, I’ve collated some of my favourite quotes from one of the most beloved fantasy writers of all time, Terry Pratchett. I am currently making my way through the Discworld series.
For letter N, I’ve chosen fantasy author Neil Gaiman. It’s unusual for me to watch a film before reading the book, but that’s what happened with both Stardust and Coraline.
For letter M, I’m focusing on Maggie Stiefvater, another of my auto-buy fantasy authors. I enjoyed the Wolves of Mercy Falls series as a teen, then the Raven Cycle series as a young adult, and more recently I discovered The Scorpio Races.
For letter L, I had lots of authors to choose from, including Lauren Oliver, Lauren James and Lauren DeStefano. But I had to go for Laini Taylor, my ultimate fantasy author.
I attended my first in-person author event last month: Boston Book Festival 2021. It was the first event of its kind in my home town of Boston, Lincolnshire and it was wonderful to meet so many local authors, illustrators and readers.
I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a book stall at Boston Book Festival (UK)!
