C is for C. S. Lewis #AtoZChallenge

For letter C, I’ve chosen a childhood favourite, C. S. Lewis. I devoured The Chronicles of Narnia as a child, and now I’m reading them to my daughter since she enjoyed the films so much.

Today is my 13th blogversary! I started blogging about books and writing back in 2009. Back then, I was a 20-year-old studying for an open university degree and working part-time in a pharmacy.
My husband started isolating with Covid last Tuesday in our spare room, so I’ve been looking after my daughter alone. I stayed off work on Monday with a sinus infection and headache and got a prescription for antibiotics and a steroid nasal spray.
One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is to get cosy on the sofa in my pyjamas (preferably with a nice mug of hot chocolate) and put on a fun, festive film to get me in the mood for Christmas. There are so many Christmas films around now, but I […]
