I’m still recovering from what I assume was the flu. It started off as a regular head cold with a productive cough. I seemed to get better for a few days before suddenly coming down with a high temperature, shivering, dizziness and aches and pains all over.

Apart from developing a rotten cold that has zapped most of my energy, it’s not been a bad week. I’ve been enjoying my new Literacy groups at work and getting quite a lot ticked off my “to do” list.
For letter R, I’ve chosen one of my favourite children’s authors, Roald Dahl. I loved Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG and Danny, Champion of the World when I was younger and now I have the pleasure of reading them to my daughter.
For letter C, I’ve chosen a childhood favourite, C. S. Lewis. I devoured The Chronicles of Narnia as a child, and now I’m reading them to my daughter since she enjoyed the films so much.
