Happy New Year everyone! 2021 has been a rollercoaster year for me, but I’m grateful for all the people who have supported me through it. Below is my reflection on the highlights and challenges of the year, plus my reading, writing and blogging stats.
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in such a long time. Life gave us a few hard blows one after the other, and I had to abandon all my writing and blogging plans. Luckily, things have settled down now and I feel ready to share what’s happened.
The last couple of months have been pretty eventful. I attended my first in-person author event and performed in a dance show. I’ve also had school opening evenings, medical appointments and social events galore.
I attended my first in-person author event last month: Boston Book Festival 2021. It was the first event of its kind in my home town of Boston, Lincolnshire and it was wonderful to meet so many local authors, illustrators and readers.
I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a book stall at Boston Book Festival (UK)!

My short story “Beneath the Roots” will be featured in the anthology Fall Into Fantasy 2021, coming September 21st from Cloaked Press.
