I’ve had a pretty good week. I still have a tension headache and a stiff neck, but I’ve finally managed to get a face-to-face appointment with my GP, so hopefully, I’ll be on the mend soon.
Throughout April 2022, I took part in the Blogging from A-Z Challenge for the tenth time! Below is the full list of posts, followed by my thoughts on what went well and what I could improve on next year.
For letter Z, I’ve chosen quotes from one of the most moving books I’ve ever read, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.
I couldn’t think of many books or authors beginning with Y, so I decided to ask for input from my fellow book lovers across social media and compile a list of your favourite book quotes.
For letter X, I’ve chosen my favourite quotes from Elizabeth Acevedo’s brilliant novel in verse, The Poet X. I couldn’t put the book down and it reduced me to floods of tears more than once.
For letter W, I’m focusing on William Shakespeare, who is probably the most quoted author of all time. It was quite a struggle to narrow down my favourite quotes to the selection here!
For letter V, I’m sharing quotes from Veronica Roth, author of the dystopian series Divergent.
For letter U, I’ve compiled my favourite quotes from books that I feel don’t get enough appreciation.
