I returned to work full time this week after almost six months at home. The summer holidays were pretty good despite the Covid situation. We got to spend some quality time together as a family without having to run our online classes.

75th VE Day Celebrations (The Sunday Post)

This week, I spent a lot of time with my daughter making preparations for the 75th VE Day. We didn’t have any union flags so we made some red, white and blue bunting for our garden fence from some old plastic bags. I also printed some colouring pages for my daughter to complete and stuck them up in the kitchen.

The Sunday Post: A Productive Couple of Weeks

It’s been a pretty good couple of weeks. Working from home resumed on Monday and I’ve been looking into ways I can support my students with their reading and spelling while the school is closed.

My daughter and I continued our craft experiments and a few days ago we made this spring centrepiece.
