Just a quick note to say that I am on hiatus for the time being while I mourn the loss of my mum, who passed away on the 20th of January after a brief illness. She was only 62, and it still doesn’t feel real.
We are muddling through as best we can. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing support network of family and friends who are taking good care of us all.
The funeral is on the 21st of February and I hope to return to blogging some time after that. I know writing will help me through my grief eventually, but I’m not ready for that yet.
