Today I’m sharing the books I bought, acquired or borrowed recently for Stacking the Shelves, a meme hosted by Reading Reality.
Purchases
I actually haven’t bought any new books for a while as I’m trying to tackle my enormous TBR.
Gifts & Giveaways
I got these wonderful books from my family for Christmas:
I thought Ready Player One was brilliant, so I’m interested to see if the sequel is as good. I’ve heard mixed reviews about The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes, but The Hunger Games is one of my favourite series so I’m looking forward to getting Snow’s origin story.
This was free through Amazon First Reads:
The premise sounds right up my street: “In Victorian England, a witch and a detective are on the hunt for a serial killer in an enthralling novel of magic and murder.” I enjoyed The Vine Witch by the same author so I’m hoping this will be good too.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing any new books you are adding to your shelves, whether physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks!
The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality. Please see the official launch page for more info.

Have you read any of these titles? What new books have you added to your shelves lately? Feel free to share the link to your Stacking the Shelves post in the comments and I will be sure to visit you!
I loved Ready Player Two, hope you do as well. I do need to read that newer Hunger Games book too. Enjoy your new books!
