Annual wrap-up

Happy New Year everyone! 2021 has been a rollercoaster year for me, but I’m grateful for all the people who have supported me through it. Below is my reflection on the highlights and challenges of the year, plus my reading, writing and blogging stats. Though I didn’t achieve all my goals, I’m still proud of myself for doing my best despite the curve balls that life threw at me. I hope you are reflecting on your own year with kindness too. Just to get through these crazy times is an achievement in my book!

Text reads: "Some accomplishments of this year that are worth celebrating: Making mistakes and learning from them, speaking up for yourself when it was hard, trying new things outside of your comfort zone, practicing kindness and making people smile, setting boundaries to protect your mental health, making it through a difficult year!" There are illustrations of a disco ball, party hat, fireworks, balloons, stars and champagne glasses. The graphic is credited to @Justgirlproject

This past year was definitely a challenging one and 2022 is starting off that way too. I enjoyed the graphic of accomplishments to celebrate and only wish I had a color printer so I could hang this in my office. Choosing kindness and making people smile has been my goal all year.

    • Yes, not the best start to 2022 so far but let’s hope things can improve. Kindness is so important at the moment as everyone is dealing with so much worry and pressure. It’s the little things that brighten someone’s day and they don’t usually cost much. I hope this year gets better for you.
