The Latest in my Life
I’m not really sure where this week went to. I was in school for two days and working from home for three, trying to cram in all my daughter’s school work. I’m really looking forward to switching off over half term now.
It’s very blustery weather here as Storm Darcy makes her way across the UK, so we are staying in and keeping warm this weekend.
Blogging
This week on the blog:
Reading

I finished reading Roald Dahl’s The BFG to my daughter. She really enjoyed it and it brought back lots of memories for me.
Watching
WandaVision is getting better and better and I was very excited about the character who made an appearance in episode 5.
I’ve just finished series 4 of House M.D now. The season finale still hit hard and made me cry even though I’ve seen it a couple of times before.
Today I watched Mary Poppins with my family. It’s the perfect Sunday afternoon film and I never get tired of it.
Listening to
I was sad to hear about Christopher Plummer’s passing on Friday. The Sound of Music is one of my favourite films of all time and Plummer was one of my first crushes.
Quote of the Week
“The one thing you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can. The moment that you feel that just possibly you are walking down the street naked…that’s the moment you may be starting to get it right.”
from Neil Gaiman’s speech, “Make Good Art”.

How are you doing? What have you been reading, watching and listening to lately? Let me know in the comments!
I agree, I’m sure it was only Monday and I was sitting down logging on to work, it’s went by so quickly!
It was so sad to hear about Christopher Plummer I’d only recently watched him in Knives Out.
Have a lovely week.
I’ve not seen that film. I ought to check it out.
Hope you had a good weekend!!!
