#AtoZChallenge 2019 Theme Reveal

Posted March 20, 2019 in A-Z Challenge / 7 Comments

Once again, it’s time for the great and powerful Blogging from A-Z Challenge theme reveal! This will be the 7th time I’ve taken part in the challenge and it’s always been a valuable experience whether I’ve made it to the finish line or not.

Last year, some of you may remember that I did an A-Z of Alice in Wonderland, analysing the various characters, themes, and symbols that appear in Carroll’s works. I really enjoyed exploring that topic, but it did take quite a lot of research to put together.

This April will be very busy for me, as my fellow IWSG anthology authors and I are releasing Masquerade: Oddly Suited on 30th April and will have lots of promotional activities going on. So for the A-Z challenge this year, I wanted to go with a wider theme that I could work around some of my existing writing and blogging commitments.

So, without further ado, my theme for the 2019 A-Z Challenge will be…

**DRUMROLL**

I will be posting every day of April (except Sundays) on different topics related to my writing life, including:

  • My writing and editing process
  • World-building and character development
  • How I find time to write and blog as a working mum
  • How I deal with insecurities and look after my physical and mental health
  • What I’ve learned from being involved with the IWSG anthology
  • How communities such as the IWSG, WEP and NaNoWriMo have helped me to progress
  • My favourite authors and how they inspire me

I’m also hoping to share some of my flash-fiction and poetry with you. I hope you’ll join me for the journey and enjoy delving into discussions about creative writing.

  1. Looking forward to your posts Tizzy, and congrats on your upcoming release – how fun! Sounds like April will be packed full of goodness. I’ll be playing along in the challenge as well.

  2. Congratulation on previous A to Z completions and good luck for this April. Your ‘writing’ theme is likely to throw up some valuable post. I have found that IWSG, WEP and NaNoWriMo have been key to my writing. So has A to Z been key – this will be my sixth year – I’m attempting to post a continuous story this time; plus music that inspires me.

  3. Your choice last year sounds pretty awesome. I may need to go back and re-read it. Of course, your choice for this year sounds pretty awesome too and somewhat similar to what my current plan is โ€“ the places I’ve traveled since 2014. (Trying to go really light this year.) Can’t wait to read your blog and theme starting in April! Best of luck! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. This sounds like an intriguing theme. Glad you’re taking part this year. The writing life is a great choice.
Our theme is the writing journey. If you have a moment, we’d love a vote on our image choices. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I’m so excited to see you on the challenge again. Wow! Seven years! I’ve been partecipating for five, how is it that I only met you last year?
