Badge for Top Ten Tuesday memeIt’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week there is a new topic or theme to base your top ten list on. I only take part every other week, alternating with Teaser Tuesday. You can find more details about it and see the list of topics here.

This week’s topic is all about our favourite colours. Mine is blue, so without further ado:

  1. I’ve read a few of the ones above, but in your To Read section, I strongly suggest The Hazel Wood. I read it just two weeks ago and enjoyed the hell out of it. Give it a shot.

  2. Yes! I only recently realized, while I was rereading it, how gorgeous that edition of HP5 is. It’s just the most perfect shade of blue, and the naked HC and inside pages are all blue with some grey, and all of it is just perfect. And the art is great. I also love the covers for Traveler and Shape of Water! These are all pretty though, you found great ones!

    • I sadly don’t have the beautiful blue edition, I still have the original yellow one (although I do like the artwork on that). It’s unfair how they keep bringing out new and beautiful editions of the HP books as I just want them all. I really like the ones with the house crests on the front and the coloured pages *drool*. Love the illustrated editions too.

    • It’s so good, I hope you get to read it soon. Purple is my second favourite colour. I find both blue and purple to be very calming, creative colours.

  3. The Raven King is one of my favourites! Also, The Hazel Wood is absolutely incredible! I got an ARC and then bought/preordered the hardback edition becauase I just loved it so much. It has a special place in my heart and I really hope you’ll love it, too! ?

    • Everyone seems to be raving about The Hazel Wood, I really hope it lives up to all the hype. I loved The Raven King even though the ending wasn’t quite as I pictured it.
