This post is going up nearly a week later than planned, but oh well! I hope you all had a happy Easter? My little one had chicken pox so our plans for a reunion meal with extended family had to be cancelled, but we still had a nice time visiting the in-laws.
I’m currently on holiday from work and I’m enjoying relaxing and spending quality time with my family. Work has been pretty stressful lately and I also had lots on socially in March, including several family birthdays, mothers day and a hen party. April promises to be even more exciting, with my Dad’s wedding next weekend, a couple of parties and a trip to Centerparcs. I’m really excited and hoping to see some lovely springtime weather soon too!

Creative Hobbies
No new artwork, baking or poetry last month. I have done a few creative things in preparation for my Dad’s wedding, such as designing the post box and writing the place cards in calligraphy using my newly learned lettering techniques. After the wedding is over I can post some pictures!
Tv & Film
Films watched: The Hobbit trilogy
TV shows: The only thing I remember watching was a BBC mystery/thriller called Keeping Faith.

Sorry about the chicken pox, but that’s great you’re getting some relaxation and time with family 🙂 And an upcoming wedding and parties and a trip? Those all sound fun! I hope you have a good time!
Great quote – I think we all need to remember that! XD
