It’s time for Teaser Tuesday, a weekly bookish meme hosted by The Purple Booker in which we share two teaser sentences from a book that we’re currently reading.
If you’d like to take part, simply:
-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page
-Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
-Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser
“He had loved the library, and had felt, as a boy, as though it had a kind of sentience, and perhaps loved him back. But even if it was just walls and a roof with papers inside, it had bewitched him, and drawn him in, and given him everything he needed to become himself.”
~Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
I think most readers can relate to that feeling! I am LOVING this book so far, and my review will be coming soon!
Before you go…
What do you think of the teaser? Would you like to read Strange the Dreamer or have you already read it?
