Welcome to WiP Wednesday (short for Work in Progress Wednesday), a new weekly blog meme. Every Wednesday, I’ll be sharing details of a project I’m working on, whether it’s creative writing, art, web design or home decorating. I’ll ask for advice if I’m having any difficulties too. My WiPs
This week is a little different from normal because I didn’t do any work on my novel due to being busy at work, looking after my sick daughter and generally feeling a bit tired and run down.
Instead, I thought I’d update you on a few of my other projects.
Bullet Journalling
I’ve decided to take the plunge and start a bullet journal. Mine will be quite different from the traditional ones in that it will be more for tracking habits and goals rather than daily or weekly to-do lists.
So far, I’ve bought all the tools and stationary I need and planned what I’m going to put on each page. I’ve also started to learn hand lettering so that I can write fancy titles on each page. I’m excited about this and I think I’m going to start a series of posts about it so you can follow my ‘BuJo’ journey.
Home Renovation
This year, we’re decorating most of the house and hopefully having a whole new kitchen put in. So far, I’ve been pinning ideas to my Home Design Pinterest board and I’ve compiled a list of contractors. The next step is for my husband and me to sit down and agree on exactly what we want, then we will get some decorators to come in and give us quotes (we sadly do not have the time nor the skill to do it ourselves).
Blogging
I haven’t published many posts this week, but I have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes writing and scheduling my posts for the Blogging from A-Z challenge. I am so excited about this, guys! I will be taking part in the theme reveal on March 21st.
