Stacking the Shelves blog meme badge

Today I’m taking part in a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! If you’d like to take part please visit the launch page and sign up with the linky on Tynga’s latest post.

Netgalley Haul

Curse of the Sphinx by Raye Wagner-this book is set ‘in a universe where mythology is alive and well in the modern world’. It sounds really interesting. Thanks to Red Coat PR.

A Thousand Nights by E. K Johnston-I’ve heard quite a lot about this one already. It’s apparently loosely based on the 1001 Nights stories (Ali Baba, Sinbad the Sailor, Aladdin, etc.), but explores a new topic-the Scheherazade myth. Thanks to Pan Macmillan for approving me for a copy.

Reality by Dani Hart-This another YA fantasy/paranormal novel. The synopsis doesn’t give away exactly which supernatural beings the book is about-the fae perhaps? We shall see. Thanks to The Hype PR.

Shattered Blue by Lauren Bird Horowitz-This is a story all about fae who need energy from humans to survive. Thanks to Amazon Publishing.

Lumiere by Jacqueline E Garlick-This has a steampunk vibe to it and sounds different from anything I’ve read before. Thanks to Skyscape.

Did you get any new books this week?
