Harry Potter Month is a yearly event taking place throughout the month of July, to coincide with Harry Potter’s birthday. Hosted by Faith at GeekyZooGirl and Micheline at Lunar Rainbows Reviews, the aim is to fill the month with all things Potter. There are themed posts, discussions, art and fans rereading the books and rewatching the movies, all of which will earn the participants House-Points towards the House Cup at the end of the month. Harry Potter Spells Tag

Soudha over at Of Stacks and Cups tagged those of us participating in Harry Potter Month with the Harry Potter Spells Tag.
Expecto Patronum- A childhood book connected to good memories

I used to lay awake reading Danny, the Champion of the World and many other Roald Dahl books well into the night when I was supposed to be sleeping.

Expelliarmus- A book that took you by surprise

The Book is written in a series of diary entries from several different perspectives. It’s unlike anything I’ve read before and I didn’t see the ending coming at all.

Priori Incantatem- The last book you read

I finally got around to reading the last in the Divergent series-my review will be coming soon!

Alohamora- A book that introduced you to a genre you hadn’t considered before

I don’t normally read mysteries or thrillers, but my mum recommended this one to me and since then I’ve been hooked on John Connolly. His books are definitely not for the squeamish though!

Crucio- A book that was painful to read

Such a sad, bittersweet book. :'(

Avada Kedavra- A book that could kill (interpret that as you may)

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is so different and gripping that you’ll find it hard to put down and may inadvertently die of starvation or sleep deprivation from your determination to finish it in one sitting. You have been warned!
