Cover Characteristic (30) Cupcakes

Today I’m joining in with the Cover Characteristic meme hosted by Sugar and Snark. Every week the authors choose a theme and you have to pick five of your favourite book covers featuring that object.

Today’s cover characteristic is one of my favourite things- Cupcakes! This was quite an easy one as there are a lot of delicious cupcake-themed cover designs around, but they are normally in genres I don’t often read-like contemporary romance.

These are the ones that most appeal to me:

I love the smoke font on this one and the cute horse candle.

This one is a bit ‘bling-tastic’ but the cupcake looks very yummy.

I like the candle flames against the black background and the swirls around the title.

Yum, yum, yum. I could definitely eat all three of those cupcakes. I like the swirly chocolate sauce font.

This one is quite funny and a bit different.

I think my favourite is You Wish, as it’s quite minimalist. I would like it even more if the background was blue rather than pink.
