Welcome to the fourth part of a series of posts all about my wedding, with ideas, tips, inspiration and downloadable resources. Today I’d like to show you some of my decorations. As we both love the colour blue, we decided to go for what I call peacock colours-teal, purple and gold. We also had a lot of ivory in the scheme to keep things fresh and to match my dress. I included peacock feathers wherever I could to match the theme, which made it quite unique.

We also had blue scatter crystals on the top table and on the glass bases that the flowers were standing on. We got them here.
Finishing Touches
I didn’t go mad with balloons-we just had six sets of floor-standing balloons in groups of three-one ivory, one blue and one purple. We got them from Jane’s Party Balloons in Boston.
We bought some peacock-themed canvas paintings from The Range for £3.99 each, as well as a white bird cage candle-holder that I decorated with blue ribbon and a peacock feather.
We also bought a cheap frame for multiple photos and filled them with pictures of our lives together. Guests seemed to enjoy looking at them. We borrowed a white post box from the venue and I made a framed seating seating plan and chalk board sign (I used a silver sharpie to do the writing).
The guestbook was a bargain from Amazon (here) and went perfectly with our theme.
