Writer’s Platform Building Campaign

Posted February 9, 2012 in Blog Fests & Hops, Creative Writing / 30 Comments

I’ve finally plucked up the courage to sign up for Rachel Harrie’s Fourth Writer’s Platform Building Campaign! It’s the first time I’ve taken part, as last year I was a bit too late to sign up. For those that haven’t heard of it (where have you been?) it’s a big event aimed at those who want to ‘meet’ and make connections with other writers and bloggers. You can sign up to groups based on the age and genre that you write for and from February to the end of March you network with other bloggers and take part in challenges. Sounds like fun, right? For more info go here, but hurry as you only have until the 15th to sign up!

I joined the following groups:

  • Group 3A YA (All Genres) (2)
  • Group 10-Urban Fantasy
  • Group 25-Poetry
  • Group 29-New Adult/Crossover

Hope to see some of you there and look forward to making new contacts and finding some awesome blogs!

PS I've been having trouble posting comments using my writing blog home page at WordPress (http://mywithershins.wordpress.com) so I'm using my Google account, which has nothing to do with my writing.
